Five rushed to hospital after car crash and fire on M65

Five people were rushed to hospital after a crash on M65 near Burnley. Firefighters were called to extinguish a car fire.

Three fire engines from Burnley, Nelson and Colne were sent to the scene and firefighters worked to extinguish a car fire. Five people were given first aid at the scene by firefighters before being taken to hospital by North West Ambulance Service.Fire crews were at the scene for around one hour and 30 minutes.
