First trailer for The Suicide Squad and Euphoria star Storm Reid's new thriller movie
The film, which is a sequel to thefranchise, is a"thrilling roller-coaster mystery that makes you wonder how well you know those closest to you", according to the synopsis.
The trailer is almost exclusively footage as seen through the eyes of different social media platforms and a laptop screen, with scenes designed to look like they're on FaceTime, TikTok and Google. June tries calling the hotel to understand where her mother was, only to realise they don't speak English. We then see her enlist the help of a local person who also speaks English to try to understand where her mother went.At one point in the trailer we see that June's mother’s boyfriend might have been behind all this, as when June hacks into his email account, she finds a list of blocked users who all call him by different names, demanding that he return their money back to them.
