A devastated Stagecoach boss has named the tragic young bus driver who lost his life in a crash on the A77 near Newton Mearns.
The 23-year-old former St Joseph's Academy student, from Crosshouse, sustained life-threatening injuries following the collision, while the 42-year-old van driver, who was in a serious but stable condition, is now stable, reports Ayrshire Live. "The whole Stagecoach team is devastated about this and we all send our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. We are also supporting those colleagues at Stagecoach who knew him.
