'A fairy tale for grown-ups.'
“Would you even know if you crossed into a fairy tale?” a voice asks in the eerie trailer for the eight-part series.
It focuses on a couple, Apollo and Emma, who reconnect after she returns from a trip to Brazil. While there she went to a forbidden waterfall pool and met a creepy old witch with different coloured eyes and a sinister cackle. The witch ties a red string around her wrist and tells her that she will have three wishes that come true, and once they do the string will fall off. But if she cuts it off prematurely, really bad things will happen.
