A cordon was in place
Firefighters were called to Grange Lane in Gateacre just after 2.30am on Friday, August 25, to a house fire. When crews arrived they found a three-storey house "fully involved in fire".
Merseyside Fire and Rescue said Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service also attended the scene. Four fire engines and the aerial appliance were used to tackle the blaze. A spokesperson for Merseyside Fire and Rescue said said: "Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service are in attendance at a house fire at Grange Lane, Gateacre. Crews were alerted at 2.41am and on scene at 2.46am.
