Crews were scrambled to the blaze at Carnbooth House Hotel at 8.03pm on Thursday, August 17.
Firefighters continue to battle an inferno that is ripping its way through a derelict Scots hotel 15 hours after flames took hold of the building.
Today, two appliances remain at the scene as firefighters work to contain the flames. Shocking images taken last night show the extent of the inferno as it gripped the once-popular wedding venue. Meanwhile, the Carmunnock bypass between Busby Road and Carmunnock Road has reopened. There are no reported casualties.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 8.03pm on Thursday, 17 August to reports of a derelict building on fire Busby Road, Carmunnock, Glasgow. Operations Control mobilised a total of ten appliances at the height of the fire to the scene.
