Firefighters are currently battling an aggressive blaze that is tearing its way through a flat in Paisley.
Crews were raced to the property on Lang Street after receiving reports of a fire at 4.58pm today. Six fire engines are currently at the scene working to contain the flames. Shocking video footage shows the inferno taking hold of a top floor flat along the street. The roof of the building has been pictured completely collapsed as flames have burst through the windows and ceiling.A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We are currently in attendance alongside emergency service partners at a dwelling fire in Lang Street in Paisley. Operations control mobilised six fire appliances to the area after the alarm was raised at 4.
