The fire service says it will be in attendance 'for some time'
Fire crews are tonight battling a blaze of 250 hay bales near Kettering. Three pumps are in attendance at the fire, which Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service reported around 9.30pm.
The fire is on Poplar's Farm Road in Barton Seagrave. The fire service has warned local residents to close doors and windows while the blaze is ongoing. Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We currently have three pumps in attendance at a large fire in Poplar's Farm Road, Barton Seagrave, involving around 250 straw bales. Residents are advised to keep their windows and doors closed.
