Final Fantasy 14 is finally coming to Xbox Series X/S, some four years after Xbox boss Phil Spencer pledged to bring the game to the platform.
made a surprise appearance at the Final Fantasy 14 Fan Festival in Las Vegas to announce that the game was coming to current-gen Xbox systems.
The MMO will be officially launching in Spring 2024, but an open beta will be launching alongside the game’s upcoming Patch 6.5 update, which is likely due in the coming months. According to Xbox, the Series X version of the game will support 4K graphics, while both the Series X and Series S versions will benefit from fast loading times.
