Officers were called to the cliff at about 13:35 BST on Tuesday afternoon, police say
A rescue operation is under way after a car went over a cliff onto rocks near a North Yorkshire seaside town.The coastguard, RNLI and ambulance service were all in attendance at the scene, North Yorkshire Police's Scarborough team said.HM Coastguard said teams from Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough had been sent to the scene, along with lifeboats from Filey and a helicopter.
