BBC SportIt was an enjoyable trip over to Stadium Australia earlier this afternoon, around five hours before kick-off.These women have been snapped by all the media outlets throughout the tournament having arrived at every game in full England outfits, draped in flags, face paint and holding instruments.
They were banging their drums and chanting on the train, encouraged by some of the locals who were clapping. When we got off the station we were greeted by balloon pillars along the exit route in the Spain and England colours. Fans were already forming small queues to buy the last stock of merchandise and the band was playing by the main stage.
