EXCLUSIVE: Faye Brookes and her former co-star Iwan Lewis married in a Cotswolds ceremony on the 23rd August and have described the day as everything they've 'dreamt' of and 'more'
Eight months after their surprise engagement Faye Brookes and Iwan Lewis tied the knot in a stunning church ceremony, which left the pair in tears and bursting with happiness.

The wedding procession began with Faye’s five bridesmaids – her sisters Nicky and Jodie, and close friends Djalenga, Sophie and Rebecca, looking stunning in sage, who escorted the flower girls down the aisle. These were Iwan’s nieces and two of the bridesmaids’ children, wearing “angel dresses” and floral crowns. They were all followed by the couple’s two Pomeranians, Bao and Bear, sporting adorable bow ties. This particularly choked Iwan up.
Another minor issue was Faye arriving at the church 15 minutes late because her driver was delayed. However, all her fiancé’s tension was relieved when he finally saw her in a princess-style gown with a lavish train and veil. Full of joy, the duo headed to their reception, which was in a marquee. After enjoying canapés of lobster popsicles and pork belly accompanied by Nyetimber English sparkling wine, the guests – including Faye’s Corrie and theatre pals Lesley Joseph, Joe McElderry and Shayne Ward – were seated for the wedding breakfast at 4.30pm.
Then followed Iwan’s two best men – his brother Wyn and best pal Jonny – who he says “threw him under the bus” with a hilarious tune on a ukulele. But when it came to the groom’s speech, Iwan admits he actually didn’t have one fully prepared – although of course he had to make a nod to his and Faye’s friendship of 16 years before they finally got together 10 months ago.
