Fashion Sakala is up and running in the Saudi Pro League after hitting a goal and an assist for Al-Fayha.
Delighted with his performance, the ex-Light Blues man shared snaps of himself celebrating to his own social media and wrote: "Great victory and important three points for the fans. The journey has started." His post was liked by a host of his former Rangers colleagues with Alfredo Morelos, James Tavernier, Antonio Colak, Borna Barisic, John Lundstram, Scott Wright, Leon Balogun and Ryan Jack showing their support for the former Ibrox man.
Speaking last week following his departure from Rangers, Michael Beale said: "Fashion Sakala was a hugely popular person in our squad and played an important role in the team from the moment I arrived as manager. On the pitch, he scored and assisted a number of goals, whilst off the pitch his infectious personality and natural enthusiasm made him an outstanding teammate.
A club statement at the time read: "Rangers can today confirm the departure of Fashion Sakala Jnr to Al-Fayha Football Club for an undisclosed fee.
