The Manchester United keeper's penalty save could not stop England slipping to defeat
Fans are heaping praise on goalkeeper Mary Earps following a stellar performance in the World Cup final. The Manchester United and England keeper has enjoyed a tournament to remember - and was rewarded with the Golden Glove award for the best in her position at the World Cup.
Upon not only saving but catching Jenni Hermoso's shot, the keeper cut loose with her emotions, letting out a tirade which was caught on the big screen at the stadium - including yelling 'f*** off' at the top of her lungs. . "That reaction from Mary Earps," tweeted @goal, while @PaulJEva3 said: "Penalty- but what happened after is Mary Earps finest moment….. I could see her confidence and mental toughness, along with the background work off the pitch."
