Jack Caine, 13, suffered a suspected heart attack whilst on holiday with his parents in Majorca
A teenager from Thornton has suffered a heart attack whilst holidaying in Majorca- and his parents are desperately battling to get him back home.
Jack is on a ventilator at the hospital as his lungs are not strong enough for him to be able to breathe on his own and will need physiotherapy to be able to do so in the future. Jack is in the hospital alongside his parents, Antony Caine and Michelle Thornton who are desperately fighting to bring their son back to the UK.
Antony wrote: "Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we are totally overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone, Jack is improving day by day but is still a very poorly young boy and needs a couple of operations here before travelling. The first is scheduled for Thursday this week and then one a few days later.
