Much-loved Preston burger spot 'kicked in the f****** b***' as energy bill soars to £5,000 a month
A Preston dad has said his electric bill will rise from £1,500 to £5,000 a month in October as businesses across the region prepare for a winter of crippling living costs.
"Someone is getting very rich out there and there's businesses shutting down. Just every single day, I've seen them fold and fold and fold. "When it comes to small businesses," he said, "nobody can be bothered. Hopefully after today, we get a new Prime Minister and hopefully they'll put a cap on it but being a professional property, there's no caps."
