They'd already shelled out £250

A family was left shocked after paying for their Blackpool holiday apartment only to find out they had to pay for the electricity on top of the price of the property.

So I thought I'd investigate a bit further. I went downstairs and then I found a little note on the wall saying there were prepaid metres in every room."

"I've never come across a hotel or B&B before where this system of prepaid meters is in place. It's a charge you'd expect to be covered in the cost of the room."
