Conditions are set to improve dramatically throughout next week

Manchester will be set for another blast of summer heat - with sunshine and higher temperatures expected from this weekend.

The warm weather is due to hit the UK thanks to Hurricane Franklin which is raging over the Atlantic Ocean - pushing high pressure and unseasonably warm conditions towards our shores.
