Everton make the trip to South Yorkshire tonight for the Carabao Cup second-round tie against Doncaster Rovers.
Doncaster should not represent a serious threat to a sensible Everton team tonight. Everton might prop up the Premier League but their hosts prop up the entire Football League. However, due to the unbalanced squad currently at Sean Dyche’s disposal, it is hard to see how the Everton boss can make wholesale changes to the team that was beaten 1-0 by Wolverhampton Wanderers at Goodison Park on Saturday.
With the poor start to the season Dyche's side has had, a major rotation is needed but at the same time, there isn't a huge amount of choice with the lack of depth even with just days to go in the transfer window.
