The 26-year-old was rushed to hospital but sadly passed away a short time later.
The 26-year-old victim is believed to have been killed following an incident involving heavy machinery at Bramley Moore Dock in Liverpool, reports the Daily Mirror.
A spokesperson for the police force said: "We can confirm that a man has died following an incident at Bramley Moore Dock this afternoon, Monday 14 August. At around 1pm it was reported that a 26-year-old man had been injured and emergency services attended the scene. A spokesperson for the HSE told The Mirror: "We can confirm we have been made aware of an incident and are making enquiries."
The incident happend only days after the second anniversary of work starting on Everton's new stadium.
