The new European travel pass has been delayed several times, but it's coming in 2024

British passport holders will soon require a travel pass to enter 30 European countries, but there is still the question of when this new rule will come into force.

When is the ETIAS travel pass launching? ETIAS was set to launch in 2022 but was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, according to the ETIAS website. Postponed until January 2023, the second delay was to May 2023 and the third was to November 2023, with the fourth now until 2024. Why has it been delayed? The EU Commission has said the rescheduling is mainly down to technical issues and preparation delays from Member States.
