But, as he looked to fly to Atlanta on Sunday morning, the 53-year-old was detained by armed police and arrested for possession of a firearm. A scan of his luggage showed the gun with a magazine inside, which had not been attempted to be hidden, and security officials immediately raised an alarm.: "At around 10:45 am on Sunday 3 September 2023, officers were called to reports of a possible firearm being found in hold luggage by airport staff at Manchester Airport.More on Boxing
