The service runs to areas including Bestwood, Hucknall and Mansfield
The future of a bus route that serves residents in areas including Bestwood and Hucknall has been secured after the previous operator pulled out. Trentbarton said last July that it was pulling out of running the 141 bus service, which also runs to Mansfield and other parts of Ashfield.
Councillor Neil Clarke, the Cabinet Member for Transport and Environment at Nottinghamshire County Council, said: "This is an essential route for local people to get to work, go to the shops, visit family, attend medical appointments and to travel for leisure.
"We fought tooth and nail to save this service and would like to thank the 3653 residents for signing up to our campaign. Buses matter to so many residents – especially the elderly, disabled and young.
