England Women face the Dutch in Nations League clash in Utrecht on Tuesday evening, with Sarina Wiegman's side aiming to go top of Group A1
The new Women's Nations League - England's clash with Scotland was their first ever in the competition - is broadly similar to the Nations League introduced in men's football back in 2018, though that also had a bit of a confusing structure.
This women's tournament has seen European football's governing body UEFA place teams into three leagues - A, B and C - based on their country rankings. Each league has been divided into four groups of four , where teams will play every other team in their group home and away to decide promotion and relegation to/from other leagues, as well as qualification for the Nations League finals.
The two finalists qualify for next year's Olympic Games in Paris. Performances will also impact the qualifying for the European Championships in Switzerland in 2025 - where teams will be trying to knock holders England off their perch.
