England's Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and Harry Kane and seven Manchester City players are on the shortlist for the 2023 Ballon d'Or.
Jude Bellingham, Lionel Messi, Bukayo Saka and Erling Haaland are four of the 30-man shortlist
Midfielder Bellingham and striker Kane both moved clubs this summer - to Real Madrid and Bayern Munich respectively. Croatia defender Gvardiol was not at City last season but Ilkay Gundogan, now at Barcelona, was and he also makes the shortlist. There are two players who left European clubs this summer - Messi, who joined Inter Miami from Paris St-Germain, and current holder Karim Benzema, who left Real Madrid for Al-Ittihad.
