It has been widely-reported Matthew Wolfenden has quit his role as David Metcalfe in Emmerdale
This has followed reports Matthew Wolfenden, 43, who plays David Metcalfe, will be leaving the soap after 17 years. As we’ve reported, the acting star has told bosses he’d like to leave the soap.
Some Emmerdale fans watching Monday’s episode questioned whether Matthew’s character David has already left the village. He didn’t appear during the latest edition of the soap.
