Oh my word!
Emmerdale fans have been teased a little bit more with what to expect from the epic storm soon to hit the village and leave mass destruction.
“So we implemented as much as we could. In the heart of the village we needed to show it had been hit by the storm. The village is a character so when you start putting massive amounts of debris and tree branches, straw in the street and pulling the odd bit of wall down it looks big. “There were about five smallish trees in total that we took down. However we will be planting at least three for every tree we took down. Obviously the environment is very important for us to protect. At one of the locations the farmer had two dead trees that we could use. So we took those for dressing.
Duncan added: “This was one of the big elements of the week. A cow stampede has not been done on a soap to this extent. We began with conversations and lots of planning with the farmer. It was really important that this did not cause any harm or stress to these animals. The cattle we used all actually live on the farm.
