Emmerdale’s Harriet star Katherine Dow Blyton’s life off screen from famous connection to boyfriend
Emmerdale’s explosive 50th anniversary episode left viewers on the edges of their seats after an explosive hour long episode on Sunday - and it seems that it’s only going to get more intense in the coming days.
Katherine, 57, was somewhat born into acting as her mum starred in a Shakespeare play while pregnant with her and she later joked: “I like to think the grease paint soaked through”. Katherine also starred in Where The Heart Is, Casualty, At Home with the Braithwaites, The Royal and The Syndicate. She also played the character of Chrissie for four episodes of Channel 4's This is England '86.
In 2001, she had an episode as Liz Morrisey, a buildings manager for the Rosamund Street Medical Centre, and her last appearance in Weatherfield was as Niamh McQuillan in 2007.
