Lydia Dingle has been through a horrific ordeal and some viewers are struggling to watch
Emmerdale fans have pleaded with show bosses to "get rid" of a character after predicting a sinister next move.
Thursday's episode saw Samson Dingle prepare for his first day of work experience at Craig's tech company. Unbeknown to Samson and the rest of the Dingles, Lydia has been left traumatised having been raped by Craig. But the doting mother figure still stepped up and took Samson so as to help him in his career. Lydia didn't think Craig would be there so she volunteered to do a few hours' work at the office, but she was gripped with fear when her rapist appeared from behind her and called her name.In a bid to act as normal as possible Lydia simply said: "best crack on" before leaving the situation, and viewers at home said they felt sick.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, Alice said: "That Craig is the absolute worst most evil character. Get rid of him now please". Matthew said: "Obviously as Lydia hasn't gone to the police this is gonna drag on with creepy Craig. Gonna have to work on not feeling sick and [angry] at the TV each time he's on screen".
