Fans of ITV’s Emmerdale have begged Paddy Kirk to open up to his loved ones ahead of a heartbreaking suicide storyline.
Paddy and Chas’ marriage broke down as a result and Al was savagely killed by Kyle Dingle as his father, Jeff Hordley’s Cain Dingle, initially took the fall. Marlon did pull Paddy aside for a private chat but the usually smiley character pushed him away and said he just needed space. “It’s nice to see Paddy home but he’s acting like nothing has happened and as though he’s not going through a lot on the inside. What everyone is seeing of him being happy isn’t the full picture I don’t think, it’s too unlikely given how long he has been gone,” another said.
"It’s an inherent problem in today’s society that most men don’t talk enough about their problems. We bottle them up, we don’t want to bother anyone, we become embarrassed, we feel we should be strong and not show weakness.
