Their storyline was the focus of Super Soap Week Emmerdale boss Laura Shaw has confirmed that Charity Dingle , Mackenzie Boyd and Chloe Harris’ storyline will continue into 2024. During Super Soap Week, Charity, Mack and Chloe were involved in a car crash that resulted in the vehicle balancing on the edge of a ravine. Mackenzie chose to save Charity over the mother of his child, which meant Chloe was thrown down the cliff face while in her vehicle but in a shock twist – she actually survived.
Mack saved Charity over Chloe ‘We want to see settle down again now, try to be happy again and move on. Christmas is coming up, and how is that going to work with this blended family that we have with Paddy, Mandy and their kids Vinny and Eve? We’ll see some happiness for them’, she added. Elsewhere, Laura recently told us that December will involve some ‘edgier’ scenes and that ‘not every one of our villagers will be sat down eating their turkey with all the trimmings on Christmas day.
