BREAKING: Emergency services rush to scene after person hit by car outside a pub
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Wilmslow Road at around 9.50pm last night . Police and paramedics were pictured blocking the busy road near the Friendship Inn pub.
Blood and debris could be seen on the road, which was cordoned off for a short time. Police said a pedestrian was taken to hospital from the scene after being hit by a car.Their injuries were not life-threatening. The age and gender of the person has not been revealed. In a statement issued this morning , a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a car on Wilmslow Road in Fallowfield at 9.50pm on Wednesday 9 November 2022.
