BREAKING: Police are currently at Sydney Airport after an incident on a departing plane led to its return.
Airport staff are currently supporting emergency services ‘in the management of an incident’.
Malaysian Airlines flight 122, which was meant to travel to Kuala Lumpur, was forced to turn back because of a midair ’emergency incident’, theIt’s been reported a passenger on the flight was ‘threatening staff’ and asking them if they are ‘slaves of Allah’. An airport spokesman confirmed other flights are still taking off and landing, but advised passengers to check the status of their flight with their provider.
