The music icon, 76, was taken to Monaco to be checked over by medical professionals
The 76-year-old was rushed to hospital following the incident late on Sunday night . He was taken to the orthopaedic department of the Princess Grace hospital in Monaco, his team told The Mirror.
Elton received 'check-ups' from medical professionals after the slip at his home in Nice, in the south of France. The Tiny Dancer hitmaker is now thought to be recovering at home after being discharged from the hospital on Monday morning A representative for Elton confirmed the ordeal in a newly released statement, saying he suffered a 'slip'.
"We can confirm that following a slip yesterday at his home in the south of France," they told The Mirror. "Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure." Giving an update on the musician's current health, they added: "Following check ups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health."
