While that was a fantastic time for Evil Geniuses, the event probably wasn’t so pleasant for none other than Elon Musk, who was attending the tournament. That’s because once people realised he was in the crowd, they mercilessly booed him and began chanting ‘Bring back Twitter,’ obviously referencing his decision toA clip capturing the moment was shared by esports reporter Jake Lucky on Twitter and has since been retweeted nearly 10,000 times.
Naturally, responses online are mixed. Some think it’s hilarious and have piggybacked to air their grievances with how Musk is running the platform, while others stick up for Musk and defend the rebranding.
