Around 4,500 customers have been affected by the error
Electric Ireland has issued an update to customers who may have been affected by an error with its keypad meters last week.
Some customers continue to be impacted and without power following the glitch last Wednesday and Thursday. , with Electric Ireland apologising for the continued disruption as some households remain without power.In the update issued on Tuesday, the company says the number of affected customers is falling, and issued the below advice to customers who are potentially impacted by the issue:
