Latest Nottingham Forest news as Steve Cooper's Reds beat Chelsea 1-0 in Premier League clash
The way Anthony Elanga took his first goal for Nottingham Forest came as no surprise to his teammates or head coach Steve Cooper.
Cooper has been easing Elanga in gently following his move from Manchester United, mindful the attacker is still young. Four of his five appearances so far have been from off the bench, although coming on as a substitute hasn’t stopped him from making an impact in games - as was the case in the capital.
“He’s a good finisher, Anthony," Cooper said. "I get asked about him quite a lot because for a young player he’s fairly high-profile and has come from United. We want players like that in the squad who are young and hungry, and who we know we can grow.
