A 13-year-old boy was stabbed, while another was left with a laceration to his ear. A 15-year-old was also punched during the attack in Niddrie Mains Road.

Three Ukrainian teenagers were assaulted in Edinburgh at the weekend, in what police are investigating as a racially aggravated attack.

The boys - two aged 13 and one aged 15 - were approached by a group of eight youths as they made their way towards a bus stop in Niddrie Mains Road. One of the 13-year-olds was stabbed, while the other was left with a laceration to his ear. The 15-year-old was punched.The youths, all dressed in dark clothing, fled after the attack at around 8.30pm on Sunday.Read more from Sky News:
