The German club kick off their season next weekend and so are a couple of weeks ahead of Newcastle in terms of fitness but Eddie Howe saw his players dominate the entire second period and could and should have scored more than the three they did get.“The first half was difficult “We didn’t really get what we wanted and I don’t think we helped ourselves, I thought we were lethargic, but certainly we have worked the players hard.“We knew they were coming into the game today fatigued and it showed early on.”
