Easyjet has unveiled its predictions for the next 50 years of travel – shedding light on how we might enjoy holidays over the coming decades.
Other future travel trends include ‘time-travelling’ experiences – where individuals can holiday in the past by wearing haptic suits at historical sites that enable them to immerse themselves in live historical surroundings.
As part of the report, Brits were also asked to choose which of the experts’ predictions they would most like to see become a reality – with nine in ten saying they were excited or intrigued by what technological advances would make travelling look like in 50 years’ time.‘Time-travelling’ holiday experiences via haptic suits that allow you to visit historical sites but see how life would have played out many years ago .
In-ear devices will be available to take on holiday to translate the local language in real time and enable us to speak the local lingo.
