Rocky is playing with fire Rocky Cotton is really struggling financially after being blackmailed out of £50,000 by ex-wife Jo Cotton in previous EastEnders scenes. In order to pay Jo off, Kathy Beale handed over all of her life savings, as well as taking out a loan – something which she now needs to pay back. With Rocky having promised to contribute, he is left in an awkward position when Kathy asks why his share of the payment has yet to land in her account.
Though Rocky laughs it off and assures him that it’s just a bit of a laugh, the car salesman is soon putting down a hefty bet in the hopes of getting lucky. Things go well for Rocky, and you think he’d take his winnings straight to Kathy to pay off his debt. Unfortunately, that’s not how Rocky’s mind works, and he decides he is going to ride his luck.
