soon proved that he was more like mum Little Mo than anyone could ever have imagined, as he saved Stacey Slater from terrifying stalker Theo Hawthorne by using a very familiar weapon.Poor Mo suffered horribly at the hands of abusive husband Trevor Morgan and finally worked up the courage to leave him for good in December 2001, after he had raped her in horrifying scenes.
Tonight’s episode of the BBC soap, which just happened to be written by the same person as that famous Little Mo scene – Simon Ashdown – proved that loveable Freddie really is his mother’s son, as he too fought back against an abuser, using an iron as his weapon. Like Little Mo had with Trevor, Freddie continued to hit Theo, with his fist this time, until he was laying unconscious in a pool of blood on the floor.
Viewers will know that Trevor survived the attack against him, which proved bad news for Little Mo, who was later found guilty of attempted murder.
