Eastenders fans think they’ve cracked the mystery of which character will die tragically this Christmas.
He’s back in Walford with his wife Cindy, who made a shocking “return from the dead” herself when it was revealed that she had actually been living in witness protection in France for 26 years. When the truth came out, Cindy reconnected with Ian and the two appear - at least for the time being - to be happy together.
In a flash forward scene teaser that has tantalised fans, local matriarchs Denise Fox, Kathy Beale, Linda Carter, Sharon Watts, Stacey Slater and Suki Kaur Panesar can be seen crouching around a body amid a sea of Christmas decorations.
