Fans of the soap couldn't believe the return of the popular character eight years after he was killed off.
Eastenders fans were over the moon to see the return of the much-loved character Fatboy on the BBC soap on Tuesday after he came back from the dead.
Ricky Norwood reprised his role for the shock scenes eight years on from his exit that saw his character killed off in a shock twist.And whilst it seems Fatboy is still dead, he did return to screens on Tuesday night for a cameo which left fans exhilarated. However, at this point in time, they were unaware Lucy's mother Cindy was secretly alive, after her apparent offscreen death in 1998.
Cindy returned back to Walford hoping to reunite with her family amidst their grief, but this resulted in Mary finding her and stopping her - claiming she was risking the safety of the Beales and the Knights by being back in town.Top showbiz news And despite being friends with Lucy and Peter, Fatboy had no idea who Cindy was and whilst he would have known her name and possibly seen snaps of her, there is a huge chance he didn't realise who he was speaking to that night.
