EastEnders actress Gemma Bissix says she was sexually assaulted at awards night aged 15

EastEnders actress Gemma Bissix has claimed that she was sexually assaulted at an awards night when she was just 15 years of age.

“It makes me frustrated that they ever happened. Back then you were grateful to be famous so you kept your mouth shut and got on with it. It shouldn’t be like that.” She said: “I don’t want it to happen to any other young actress or actor on TV or stage. But if it did I would want them to be able to speak out in a way I couldn’t, but it was so different back then.”
