“They’re experiencing the same levels of poverty as others' 😞

The community fridge, which is run by volunteers, is open from 5-7pm on Mondays and Fridays.

The team has partnered with the Glasgow Times as part of our Bank on Us campaign - which is encouraging readers to donate to their local food bank this Christmas.The 57-year-old said: “We’re practically out of food in the first hour. On Wednesday, paper bags were inserted into every copy of the Glasgow Times as part of the Bank on Us campaign.

However, you can still drop vital donations off at the community fridge in Shettleston at 68 Eckford Street, G32 7AR, on Mondays and Fridays between 5-7pm.
