East Belfast man Alan Harris is preparing to take on the London Half Marathon – dressed as a gorilla. 🦍
An East Belfast man has topped the donation charts for the London Half Marathon this year as he raises thousands for charity.
Since September, he has raised more than £22,000 for the charity and has raised over £55,000 since 2019. Alan originally started his fundraising journey in memory of his parents, Alan and Helen, who died following a battle with cancer. Speaking to Belfast Live, Alan said: "I am always doing things throughout the year in order to try and raise some funds for Macmillan because of the great work that they do and I know first hand the support that they provide.
