A man who launched a racist attack on a former member of the band Earth, Wind and Fire has been jailed. Hefin Parker shouted slurs at music legend Morris ‘Mo’ Pleasure as he queued for a nightclub in Aberystwyth, Wales.

He turned around to find Parker shouting abuse at him in front of his two sisters-in-law.‘They hit him with an open palm slap. He had never seen the defendant before and had no knowledge of him.Parker pleaded guilty to racially aggravated common assault

The court heard door supervisors at the club stepped in to stop the confrontation before Parker was escorted away.
