Millions of struggling families will begin receiving cost of living relief payments from October 31
The Department for Work and Pensions will begin paying out £300 to struggling households on Tuesday .
The one-off, tax-free payment can be used by families to pay for a wide variety of basic necessities, including rent and bills. The qualifying benefits include the following:
