More financial support is on the way for millions of people across the UK claiming certain benefits from the Department for Work and Pensions .
Eligible people on DWP means-tested benefits got their first 2023-24 payment as part of a package of wider support. Ministers previously announced that a further payment of £300 would be made in the autumn along with another £299 in spring 2024.Gov.uk states you may be able to get up to five payments to help with the cost of living if you’re getting certain benefits or tax credits.

The vast majority of £150 payments were made automatically over a two-week period between June 20 and July 4.
